Nancy has a passion for hygiene and providing the best care for all her patients. Nancy especially enjoys building relationships with her patients and likes to use humor to make her patients more comfortable in the dental chair.

Nancy's dental education started when she went to her high school vocational education program. She worked her senior year in a dental office. After high school she attended Indiana University School of Dentistry and completed with Honors the CDA program. Nancy worked at IU School of Dentistry for seven more years. Nancy moved to Michigan and attended Ferris University Dental Hygiene Program. She was awarded Best Clinician of her graduating class by the instructors and faculty. Nancy was chosen to participate in the National Health Service Corps . She worked in underserved communities providing dental services and dental education to all. Nancy love of public health dentistry has taken her all over the state of Michigan setting up clinics and moving to the Detroit area. She has been a preceptor of dental hygiene students with the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and Kalamazoo Community College.

Susan has been part of the dental community for over 24 years. Susan started out her career as a chairside dental assistant and over the years has had the wonderful opportunity to hold many different positions within the office. Susan has a passion for all things dental. She enjoys all aspects of the dental office and having the opportunity to establish and maintain lasting relationships with our patients. Outside of her dental family, Susan has been married to her amazing husband for 22 years and they have 2 beautiful daughters, Avery and Addison. Together, they enjoy spending time with their dog Teddy, going to the movies, and traveling.

Mary takes full pride in caring for our patients as a dental assistant to make them feel at ease. She enjoys spending time with her husband and family. Mary also enjoys traveling and spending time with friends.

Introduction: There is noticeable variability in reporting the prevalence of impacted teeth, which can be attributed to the variability in the age, gender, and type of populations investigated.

Materials and methods: Panoramic radiographs were examined retrospectively for patients who attended dental clinics at King Abdulaziz Medical City and the College of Dentistry at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The sampling frame for the orthodontic population included digital records of 2998 patients randomly selected from an original 8000 patients treated from 2016 to 2022 in the orthodontic clinic. For the general population, 3002 patients were randomly selected from an original 15000 patients treated at the dental college from 2016 to 2022. A tooth was considered impacted if it failed to erupt after two years of the expected complete root formation.

Conclusion: Although the prevalence of at least a single tooth impaction between the orthodontic and general populations was not significantly different, the type of teeth differs. Hence, understanding the type of population investigated while reporting the prevalence of impacted teeth is critical in understanding the variability between different reports.

Dr. Lopez earned her Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, Harrogate, Tennessee, in 2015. Dr. Lopez completed her medical residency in family practice at Glendale Adventist Medical Center in 2018. She worked as a Medical Director at Mountain View Community Center, an FQHC in Kern County, from 2018 to January 2022. Dr. Lopez made CLCHC her home as of February 2022, and speaks Korean and English.

Dr. Lopez has gained years of experience in outpatient care and family health, and focuses her efforts on providing care to the underserved. Dr. Lopez is also experienced in inpatient hospital acute care settings, including pediatric and adult medicine.

Dr. Ahmad moved to California in 2019 and worked as an Outpatient care Internist at various reputed healthcare entities and Community Care Clinics, bringing his wealth of experience and unwavering dedication by providing expertise to various healthcare entities, as driven by his passion for comprehensive care.

Dr. Samir Ahmad joined CLCHC in 2023 as Director of the Primary Care Department. His commitment to providing effective, safe, and compassionate healthcare continues to shape his practice. Dr. Ahmad speaks speaks English, Arabic, Bulgarian, and medical Spanish.

In 2021 Dr. Cooley brought her wealth of knowledge and experience to Celebrating Life Community Health Center, where she pursues her passion of providing whole-person care (physical, emotional, spiritual) to underserved communities. Dr. Cooley is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine Physicians (AAFP) and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. She enjoys the arts, Zumba, paddleboarding, and spending her free time with her loved ones and her pets.

Dr. Sevitlana Safaei has been practicing medicine for more than 16 years. Her choice to pursue this profession was solidified many years earlier. As a child, she was very close to her grandmother and watched her through many ailments. These were defining moments for Dr. Safaei as she promised her grandmother that she would become a physician and help others to maximize their quality of life and provide the best care possible.

Dr. Safaei takes pride in her studies and journey in the medical field. She graduated with a degree in nursing which provided the opportunity to learn the art of active listening, genuine compassion, bedside manner, and a sense of service. She further continued her medical studies in graduate school to become a physician. Dr. Safaei graduated from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed Internal Medicine Internship at New York Medical College and completed Internal Medicine Residency at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara, a teaching affiliate of Stanford University. In addition, she completed independent studies in nutritional and food science, clinical homeopathy, and Traditional Chinese Medicine for physicians through academy of research, an affiliate of University of California, Irvine, and University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine.
