Hi Dan,
I had previously posted that it was not possible to send a task declaration from the LX90x0 to the S10x, but I stand corrected. It isn't mentioned in the LX90x0 manual, but the S10x manual does mention it.
Connect LX80x0 or LX90x0 to S8x or S10x GPS Port
An LX5-SVAR cable cable be used to connect an LX90x0's round 5-pin Binder "PC" connector (on the LX90x0's wiring harness - not on the back of the LX90x0) directly to the S10x or S8x vario's 6-pin GPS/FLARM port. This leaves the S8x or S10x's PDA port available for connection to an Oudie 2 using a CC-NP-Oudie2 cable or to an Oudie N using the S10x's Bluetooth radio, or an S8x's PDA port using a Bluetooth Module.

Connect LX80x0 or LX90x0 to S8x or S10x GPS Port
If your LX90x0's round, 5-pin, Binder connector is already connected to a FLARM, you can use an LXNAV LX5-PF FLARM RJ45 cable to connect the LX90x0's 5-pin, round Binder connector to an RJ45 FLARM Splitter. An LXNAV S7-GPS-PF cable would connect the S8x or S10x's GPS port to the FLARM splitter. An RJ45 straight-through cable could connect the RJ45 splitter to a PowerFLARM's RJ45 port. This method also leaves the S8x or S10x's PDA port available for connection to an Oudie2 or Oudie N.

Connect LX80x0 or LX90x0 to S8x or S10x PDA Port
An LXNAV LX5-PDA cable can be used to connect the LX80x0 or LX90x0's 5-pin round Binder connector to an S8x or S10x's PDA port. This option leaves the S8x or S10x's GPS/FLARM port available for direct connection to a GPS or FLARM.
Feel free to email or call to discuss the best solution for your installation.
