LXNAV weather display options include “Star Rating”, evidently supplied by SkySight. I don’t see this in any documentation. What is this?

Short answer: Ignore it.

Long answer: It's a parameter for para/hanggliding pilots, you'll see it on SkySight if you set your aircraft type to Paraglider/Hangglider. It's meant to be a simple representation of how 'nice' the weather is (moderate thermals, clouds, light winds).
Probably it shouldn't be shown on LXNAV devices, but our API is a generic API not just for glider pilots and currently LXNAV shows you all the parameters in our API.
