IMG_0940.pngIMG_0941.pngHi,

I want them to send the GPS signal from the  LX to MGL FF4 in order to calculate range. I don’t have a MGL RDAC. I have a LXNAV RS485 splitting unit, but I think I don’t need to use it.

If anyone has done something similar can you guide me, step by step, how to do it?

I think I need to use 1 cable connected to the PDA port in the LX and use cable on pin 5 (Output - data out RS232 - transmit line) . This cable I should connect to the purple cable (12)  in FF4 (CAN Lo). And what about ground? Do I also need to connect? In this case it would be cable 1 (or 2] on the LX side to cable black (2) on the FF4.

Is this correct?

Thanks in advance,
Joaquim

What is the connector on the MGL?
When I sent GPS info to the Air-Com radio through a D-sub connector, I used a connector with screw terminals so I could easily connect and disconnect ground in case of a ground loop. It worked without connecting ground.
