Great.

See you in a few years .

Just kidding :)

In the past years different persons reached me to restart the projects. But always ended in silence after a while. At this moment A old user, contacted me and want to give it a shot also. Well we see :)  When I explained how to start.... he got big eyes. Explaining git/phpstorm will take weeks..  But ok. We will see. I always say, its public, open source so everyone with knowledge can work at it. No permissions needed :) Just fork and start hehe

A few sponsored servers still online. Still maintain them. Software still can be installed, but dont know if it works. You need a little hack to do it (see wiki at github page).

Still use hypervm at home on C6/64bit. Tho modified it a bit so it could run fine on my server with a lot other tools running :) Still OpenVZ changed a lot, have to edit the vz conf files manualy after i created a new vm :)  Still updating core software for it at home (lighty, (lx)php etc.).

Anyway have fun. see ya arround.

Danny.

Well…

To be honest… we have lost http://lxcenter.org – it’s fact. I’ve sent to the admins of lxcenter.org domain few emails that I can host it and pay for it but have received 0 responses.

What I did to let this project run and be a live (and let people install this software and run) is http://hypervm-ng.org

I’d like everybody who wants to participate and have some spare time to work on this fork. I did some RHEL7 stuff already (like you can run master on RHEL7), want switch to openvz support (<= RHEL6) to virtuozzo (>= RHEL7), add libvirt framework (that should let us support more than Xen/OpenVZ) and rewrite UI to more modern one).

So far so good.

Someone is trying to give it a new life. He has all he needs to have.  Github ofcourse and just given the rsync access to mirror the download server.
Master download server(a vps) is still online (uptime 400= days) and one mirror on a sponsored server with hvm beta and a bunch vm's (uptime is 700+ days).

I am still in to give it a reload but first i want to see activity first :)

Domain(s) status is unknown.

Bye bye, see you next year :P

hi Danny and Dionysis

just a little introduction of mine
i have some spare resource, and wish to pull this project up

i am trying to work, but i would require a lot of guidance

as far as the domains are concerned, i have registered a few domains related to the name
(but with different extensions) and the original ones are now more free

let us see if we may give it another try and get going

Danny has been a great help but he alone with a novice like me cant do much

lets restart and rebuild

Hi,

Any update on this ? I can't find any other foss project that would replace Cpanel with admin/reseller/client workflow other than kloxo, but it needs a new skin (a modern one).

I would love to see it in development again

hi
nice to see people looking ahead and forward to us

actually due to the lost development and such issues, kloxo is not compatible with the latest version

to bring to notice, the fact that you are getting a reply, means we are getting back on track and we will soon be releasing a version for centos7 then centos8

till then i am afraid you will have to wait, as we are not having enough of resources to be pulled together to release a version very soon

thanks

I'm currently testing kloxo-mr on centos 7 and it's working fine so far(I didn't run many tests).

Maybe it would be easier to pull Mustafa Ramadhan changes to the main kloxo source base and also add him to the development team

Keep in mind that what Mustafa Ramadhan did to the look and feel of the software is just bad. It works, but I am sick of just looking at it.

Yes I don't like the design either but at least it works.

I am Busy. Rebuilding and creating a Centos 7 rpm repository. Almost done for Kloxo. Kloxo is kind of running here at Centos 7. Then the real work going to be started. Updating all 3rdparty. Upgrading the engines. And there we need developers for.

My goal is to have a c7 rpm repository that works by end of this year. Then I help with some updates and implementing into Kloxo 7. Then developers need take over to get kloxo working with a new engine. I start then to make rpm arrangements for Kloxo 8 for Centos 8.

I do not go do full coding.  I help to implement rpm related items.

So yes a full drop on centos 6. Only focus on 7 and 8.

Hypervm? Well... Let's focus on one thing first. Let hypervm stay in the freezer for a while unless there are developers for.

For now I have fun in creating the rpms and I do not  put all my time in it yet.  So end of year I hope all rpm packages to be ready.

Progress you can follow by looking at the master repo and the  mirror that are still online.

I did setup a wiki that I share info with Amit.

Regards Danny

I am currently running OpenVZ 6 + CentOS 6 node with HyperVM dev version. It works OK. it had to be setup thanks to someone who have a repository. Hopefuly he will not disappear as i still like the project and do not see many free alternatives. Btw, here is the details on how it can be inst@lled.
KloxoMR quite works, MR did and doing nice job supporting all people on his forum and i am also hosting one VPS with KloxoMR, it works. For Kloxo free alternatives, check this topic. Let me know if i can be useful - i am not a coder/developer, just user ;)

hi

the repositories will be safe till the devs, Danny and myself will be alive

just to mention, it has a few (more than one) clone, so its just a matter of time till we pull up everything and start rolling out new versions
