Working Draft of Consensus Questions

I have uploaded a new file entitled Working Draft of Consensus
Questions.

To comply with the recommendations of LWV-US. We need to have people
look at these questions and see if they are understandable. The
following is the exact quote:
"Any consensus questions for any study be tested, before approval by
the Board, for understandability, suitability and non-bias by League
members who are not part of the study committee, the staff, or the
Board."

So we are going to start with the Local Committee chairs and this is
being sent out in the State Board Packet. This is a working draft--
#10 I think--but since Cheryl & I haven't done this before it is
taking more time.
Our deadline to finalize questions is the Sept 11th State Board
meeting as we want to have the final copy to you by Sept 15.

Look at--run it by some of your members--let's do it right so we can
reach a consensus and establish our position.

Donna, this is why it had to go out with the packet, so the board members have the opportunity to look them over and think about them ahead of time.  I know they will have lots of suggestions.

Did this go to Sydell Shayer as well?   She does an excellent job of critiquing these kinds of things.  She is apparently not coming to the board meeting (she is off-board) so would need to be sent the questions separately.  Didn't know if she was part of your committee or not.
