If anyone knows anyone interested in actually getting paid to work on redistricting, here's an opportunity:
https://represent.us/careers/?86838b95-b527-4bfd-8ed4-50ba25155948. This position is pegged at $80k, by the way--this is not an entry-level position and requires extensive experience in organizing. Prior work in campaign organizing would presumably count, also volunteer recruitment and management..
RepresentUS is ramping up their work in NC with a focus on redistricting. They're a member of FairDistrictsNC, by the way, and are strictly non-partisan (with a cross-spectrum membership), but have been pretty small-scale here in NC. They have groups in the Triangle and Charlotte, but have not been very active, to my knowledge. Looks like that will be changing, though.
