judgment day query

hello i was wondering how do you make judgement day play its self? i never figured that out and read about it in manual but don't know how to trigger it can you help?

Start the game as if you were going to play.  Pick any difficulty level and hit enter.  Then, after the commander says, “Here comes the first round of these guys.  Stay Sharp.  Who knows what they’re sending?”  At that point, hit the backspace and see what happens.  Eric.
