Good morning gamers.

The Great Toy Robbery 2.1 has been released with a host of fixees. The game has been ported to NVGT, now has full game pad support, a mac and Windows version, web leader boards, more achievements, and much more.

Have played several games.  So does a speech reader need to be on during the game, which it seems like it does because prompts seem to be through JAWS and not always through game voice.

HI Liam:

Love this game. Thanks for updating it, and for the zero upgrade price too *smile*

I play with jaws unloaded, though you can set a config to send it to sleep if you want, which means while you’re in the game, jaws won’t be active, but outside it will.

I also want to point out that the game will work with JAWS and will accept keyboard input correctly now. If at any time you notice that JAWS is keeping your keyboard keys from functioning in the game, please let me know where you notice this. I do not use JAWS anymore, so I do not test the game with it as thoroughly as I should.

I tried the trick with jaws unloaded, and the game wouldn’t talk, though it did talk once with it unloaded. So I now keep jaws loaded, and it will work. There are some interesting things in options too about the sound I think it is? it makes the game rather wid. From: lwo...@googlegroups.com <lwo...@googlegroups.com> On Behalf Of Liam Erven

So there seems to be an issue with the keyboard on Mac. If you hold the arrow keys long enough, you will keep moving even after you release them. I was able to replicate this both on my wireless keyboard and internal keyboard.

It seems to be happening only with VoiceOver enabled. I wish I would be able to choose the voice that the game itself uses then I would be golden.

Hi:  I am hoping someone smarter with desktop PCs than I am can tell me if I can move the Great Toy Robbery from downloads to my desktop.  It’s too easy to delete by accident in downloads.

OK, when I hit enter on the toy robbery  game I get a weird menu that has live, user data, manual, TGTR.  I don’t find that mentioned in the manual.

Thanks.  Did you copy and paste like a normal file?

Depends on what you are actualli opening.

You've got zip file from the website which you already extracted I Believe. Inside that zip file is that content userdata, manual, lib... You get the same also in the extracted folder.

You actually need to move your extracted folder somewhere where it can stay. Maybe in the documents or somewhere where you put portable applications. You can move it also dyrectly in the desktop but for various reasons i don't recommend it. So it is better to move the folder outside of downloads and create desktop shortcut.

What I exactly did was as follows:

- downloaded the game

- extracted the zip file inside the downloads folder

- played the game few times and realized that I like it

- cut the entire folder from the downloads and put it in to my games folder

- removed the zip file from the downloads folder as I dont need it anymore.

- I dont have desktop shortcut for it now but it is easy to do
