Meetup this Sunday!
Being specific and getting others to be specific is a skill I think is pretty useful for good communication and discussion. Being specific is about tying language to concrete examples and well understood ideas.
For example, when trying to explain the idea of a Turing machine to someone who's not familiar with it, you might simulate a small Turing machine on paper for them.
And if you were explaining the virtue of being specific to someone who didn't know about it, you might give them an example of giving an example.
