I'll be bringing chips and some beef/sausage cheese dip.  Does anyone have a vegetarian dip for the non meat eaters they can bring?  Also, any ideas for sides?

Um, I ruined it.  I set the crock pot on the wrong thing and it is really not edible.  Unfortunately I work until the meeting so I won't be able to make anything else in time.  Anyone else have any ideas?

Awww man; bummer!  Thanks for trying!

So, anyone else want to make suggestions or try something before I come up with an idea?  Now's your chance!  :-D

Try some Chicken Marsala with lightly breaded fried shrimp and French bread. (With a white wine of course) I am Italian so forgive the massive amount of carbs in this meal.

Sounds very nice!

Divinity and I are going to setup a couple of crock pots (I believe t least 3) and make some crock pot BBQ chicken and also have some tortillas and stuff for guacamole to make tacos out of them if you like.

A rice based side dish may go well if someone wants to make one; cheap and easy.

I'll get some veggies for veggie tacos, too.  Suggestions from our vegetarians would be very welcome here.

Oh man that sounds delicious.  Hopefully I remember that idea next time I am trying to think of what to make.

Well it is pretty hot out today so I'm going to bring a couple gallons of ice cream. Are there bowls & spoons in the kitchen or should I pick some up?

I think we're OK on bowls and spoons for tonight but we may be getting close to needing to buy more soon; we should keep an eye on that.  Not there yet but I expect we will be in a couple of weeks.

We have three crock pots of chicken going; one has half a tablespoon of habenero hot sauce in it for some "kick" -- probably not enough to burn but hopefully enough to be noticed.  The other two are normal.  One is made without onions for those who dislike onions (thank Jose for that suggestion).
We also have some yellow squash, green squash (zucchini as I recall), and onions I will sauté to go with some refried beans and mild and medium salsa.  We also have some tomatoes, though some of that will go into the guacamole.  If anyone would like to bring olives, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, or any other nacho/taco related toppings they may want please feel free to do so.  Rice would be nice, too, as previously mentioned.  So both vegetarians and meat eaters should have plenty to choose from.

Vegetables are expensive so tonight's dinner cost $59; please give generously.  It ought to be very tasty!  Smells good already!  Thanks Divinity!
