It's time.... for the Stupid Crap and Terrible Ideas Hackathon 2026!

Your challenge is to create Stupid Shit No One Needs: that is, a product or service SO LUDICROUS that no one has or will ever demand it.

It will take place from Friday, October 2, 7:00 PM to Sunday, October 4, 12:00 PM.

Inspired by the ridiculous amount of sequels, prequels, and remakes that have been thrown our way via movies, games, and other merchandise, this year’s theme is “The NeverEnding Franchise.”

What can YOU contribute to the continual abuse of intellectual property?

What EPIC absurdity can YOU add to the long list of Things that No One Asked For?

Make ANOTHER thing from the franchise you love, and show the world that they can’t take this away from you–no matter how much the world weeps with exhaustion.

There will be FOOD! And PRIZES!!

Teams are encouraged, so start forming loyalties, hyping product ideas, and trash-talking hopeful competitors–it’s the American Dream!
