Just bought one on ebay for a 3d printer I am making.  It only costs $30! http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-24V-2-5-10-15-20-30A-24-60-120-180-240-360W-DC-Switch-Power-Supply-Driver-/170907147718?ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:US:3160 you have to choose the configuration you want on the ebay screen.  I chose 12V 30A.  Hopefully it will work for me and not be a dud.

Knew I had a spare 120VAC to ~12VDC bench power supply laying around, but despite the sturdy looking case it's only good for 3 Amps.

Oh well...

I can't guarantee they're the same, but I've seen a lot of vendors sell these power supplies, and the pictures hint that they're the same units.  For example, Sure Electronics sells this 12v, 29A for $26. http://www.sureelectronics.net/goods.php?id=1707

Kysan Electronics sells what seems to be the same 12v, 29A supply for $36. The datasheet (for ripple, tolerance, etc.) is here:  http://www.kysanelectronics.com/Products/datasheet_display.php?recordID=4155

Kysan makes really solid stuff, so I would trust anything they sell.  In fact, the miniature gear motors that Solarbotics, Pololu, etc. sell for $20 each come from Kysan for about $3 each per 1,000.  The only downside is that they have a $100 minimum order.  Last time I ordered from them, it came in 3 days.  From China.
