Anyone interested in an east end dedicated electronics/software makerspace?

I've opened inquiries with the city of J-Town about the possibility of starting a space dedicated to electronics and software hacking - including 3d printers and possible a small or medium format laser. 

It's proven impossible to keep tools and equipment like this at lvl1, and the expectations and norms make it difficult to change.
