Micro Controllers?

Hi folks,

I'm trying to figure out a few things about how to add components/make them work with a micro controller (RP Pico or Arduino Nano). I have a little working knowledge and understand some programming basics for it. If anyone has some experience with them and a little time to answer the odd question I'd sincerely appreciate it.

For a little more on specifics, I'm trying to control a LED bar graph, a high power LED or laser module, and be able to play sounds.
