BAD BAD Vinyl users!

It's partially my part for not checking hte settings before I hit print, but I keep coming in and finding the force set back up to 26 on the vinyl cutter. WAY TOO HIGH. It cuts right through the paper and vinyl  and hits the base of the plotter

If your cuts are coming out choppy, this is why! Not to mention it seems it might damage the blade?

Can you put a label with the correct force on the cutter? It may help people if it's right in front of their face.

Just a thought:
Is this a mechanical or electronic setting? Could the fact that we are always powering the cutter off and on via the extension cord be affecting this?

No..it has to be manually changed..when powered up, it retains the last setting.
