After 25  or so years, I have decided it was time to upgrade my lathe.

I have to make room for it, so I am giving away my very long loved 1999 ish Ridgid lathe.

This lathe was manufactured under the Home Depot Rigid name by Emerson tools
This lathe has a 1/2 HP Emerson branded single phase 120 V induction motor.
Turning between centers is 37" (36" advertised). Max Swing is 12" (11 7/8" usable IMHO)
Lathe equipment includes:
  • Spur drive center
  • Live center for the tail stock
  • Dead cup center (lost the center point)
  • 12" tool rest
  • 6" tool rest
  • 10" s-curve bowl tool rest
  • 1/2" drill chuck
  • 6" face plate
  • Mini 4 jaw chuck with several different types of jaws
  • Lathe stand with wide stance legs

I replaced the V belt with a link belt last month.

Please email me back if you are interested.

I'd be very interested.  I do some basic woodworking and would love to have a wood lathe (and eventually a metal lathe).  I can come to you to pick it up whenever if you just want to email me.
