Finally, the news we've been waiting for!

Starting July 1, 2015 we will be part of District 95!

I'm forwarding you the email from the TMI headquarters and Kees Broos, the District 95 Governor.

We do have a lot of work ahead of us, but it's cool to realize we've made a great step towards the path of excellence for our clubs and members.

I'll be getting in touch with you soon to plan our further action.

But for now -- my congratulations to all of us, and let's get to thinking about our activities as part of the new expanded District 95!

Dear fellow district 95 members as from 1 July 2015,

time to pop the cork . I have just received excellent news. All incorporation requests have been favourably looked upon by the Board of Directors in their last February 2015 meeting, see below.

Please pass on the good news to your respective clubs.

To all our new members from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia and Ukraine a special warm welcome to District 95. On behalf of my fellow Governors and all 5980 members, we are very excited about being able to welcome you in our District. The excitement during our DCM in Nov in Frankfurt has been justified and must have carried on to the BoD. 

Congratulations to all your input, drive and energy to make this happen.

Still a bit of work ahead of us, but nothing we cannot deal with I think. I will inform the different committee chairs accordingly.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to let me know. You know where to find me.

May see you in Borås to celebrate.

Congratulations!  The Board of Directors has approved your district’s requests to reform by addition of the countries of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, and The Ukraine.  The countries will be added to the boundaries of the district effective July 1, 2015.

 

There will be more information coming to you in the coming weeks about how to help the members of the clubs join the district effectively, including voting at your upcoming conference for district leaders.  If you have any questions as you prepare for your upcoming elections, please be sure to let us know at dist...@toastmasters.org.  We are happy to assist you and your district as you prepare for this exciting addition!
