[Lustre-discuss] LUNs greater than 24Tb with 1.8.7-wc1

Hello,

we have new storage with 3Tb disks and would like to have larger LUNs to benefit from the speed increases across more spindles.

1.8.7-wc1 does not like to format disks over 24Tb, apparently, but it seems there is an override option.

Is this safe for a production system, or would it be better to wait until 2.1/2.2 is regarded as stable for production environments.
