[Lustre-discuss] (no subject)

We have been having some trouble with one of our filesystems. We have
fsck'd all of the disks. When we try to start the mds for this fs, it
never actually comes back online. It is staying in an 'AT' status. Was
wondering if anyone had some idea where we should start looking.

The Bugs & Security section of the Teragrid lustre-wan wiki below contains the
information and patches for the following:

1. Cross-Realm issue where remote-realm principals are refused (category: bug)
2. Unsafe directory modes in lustre-source rpms (category: bug/security)
3. Preventing compromised of lustre clients mounting lustre fs (category: security)

You're welcome to use them till they are committed to lustre-cvs.

Note that this is fixed in the 1.6.5.1 release (bug 16180), which is just
finished testing and on its way out the door.
