[Lustre-discuss] [urgent]unable to mount MDT

Dear list,
I got this error when I was trying to mount our MDT, which shares the same partrition with MGS.
[root@mds01 lustre]# mount -t lustre -L besfs-MDT0000 /lustre/besfs/mdt
mount.lustre: mount /dev/sda1 at /lustre/besfs/mdt failed: Invalid argument
This may have multiple causes.
Are the mount options correct?
Check the syslog for more info.

There is nothing in /proc/fs/MGS /proc/fs/MDT, what can I do ?

I use "tunefs.lustre --erase-params --writeconf /dev/sda1" to reconfigure the MDT
then the partrition is mounted successfully. However, I got this on the client:

How can I delete the old logs?

I remounted MDT for some reason( the clients are frozen). The it refuesed to be mounted, as showed in my first letter.

Now I stopped the MDS server, waiting for someone could help.

Lu,

You will have to wait for some of the SUN/Lustre folks to respond. I'm
not sure what you are running into.
Were any hardware or software changes made to the configuration prior to
the problem showing up?
