Vagas para empregos para o estrangeiro aumentam

Amanhã é dia de Business Forum na Nova SBE e mais de metade das 53 empresas presentes são estrangeiras.

As ‘job fairs’ das universidades são cada vez mais apetecíveis para empresas estrangeiras que querem recrutar portugueses para trabalhar fora. Amanhã é dia de Business Forum na Nova SBE e mais de metade das 53 empresas presentes são estrangeiras.

Já apelidado de mês da empregabilidade, Fevereiro é a altura do ano em que tudo acontece nas universidades portuguesas em termos de recrutamento. E se, na terça-feira passada, se realizou o Forum Carreiras na Católica Lisbon, amanhã é o dia do Business Forum da Nova School of Business and Economics.

São 53 empresas que vão estar representadas através de stands e apresentações tanto no formato tradicional (45 minutos), como no formato de ‘Turbo Sessions’, em que as empresas têm apenas 15 minutos para se apresentar e ao toque de uma campainha têm que dar lugar à empresa seguinte. 10% são empresas que se apresentam neste evento anual da Universidade Nova de Lisboa pela primeira vez. Mas 62% são empresas estrangeiras, o que significa vagas fora do país.

A disponibilidade dos jovens talentos para integrarem empresas no estrangeiro tem vindo a aumentar e com essa disponibilidade aumenta também o interesse das empresas estrangeiras nos jovens portugueses. Prova disso são os dados da Nova SBE: “de acordo com os inquéritos que fazemos anualmente aos nossos alunos, os do ano passado, por exemplo, seis meses depois de terem concluído o curso estavam todos a trabalhar (uma taxa de empregabilidade de 100%, portanto), 28% estavam a trabalhar fora de Portugal e desses, 40% estavam mesmo no estrangeiro a tempo inteiro, enquanto 12% passavam cerca de seis meses fora de Portugal”, explica Elizabete Cardoso, directora de marketing e Relações Externas da Nova SBE.

“Há um interesse cada vez maior no talento português”, assegura Elizabete Cardoso. Porquê? “não existe outra palavra para dizer isto, a verdade é que os portugueses desenrascam-se muito bem”, continua: “são resilientes, mas arranjam soluções como muita facilidade, adaptam-se facilmente a outras culturas e formas de trabalhar – o que é fundamental numa multinacional, por exemplo -, além de termos um ensino de elevadíssima qualidade nas áreas da gestão e economia.” Características procuradas também pelas maiores empregadoras desta escola, como sejam o Banco Espirito Santo, Vodafone Portugal e as consultoras.

No ano passado, o evento contou com a presença de 1300 visitantes. E este ano, “esperamos ter mais pessoas, porque o evento já é mais conhecido e o desemprego jovem nunca esteve tão alto”, diz a directora de marketing.

Já hoje, no âmbito do CEMS, a rede internacional de escolas de gestão de que a Nova SBE faz parte, realiza-se um périplo internacional – através do qual as 27 escolas podem apresentar os seus programas de ensino nos mais diversos países -, no Campus de Campolide, onde escolas como HKust Business School(Hong kong), Vienna University of Economics & Business (Austria), University of Cologne (Alemanha), Hec PARIS (França), University of st. Gallen (Suiça), Università Bocconi (Itália), Prague University (República Checa) e Aalto University School of Business (Finlândia), estão a apresentar os seus programas.

170 empresas portuguesas procuram oportunidades em Moçambique até ao dia 7 de março

Um conjunto de 170 empresas nacionais, que representam um milhão de euros de investimento, vai participar durante as próximas duas semanas na quinzena empresarial Moçambique-Portugal para exploração de oportunidades naquele país africano.

De acordo com dados da Associação Industrial Portuguesa (AIP), participam na iniciativa 170 empresas e 220 empresários, percorrendo Maputo, Beira e Nampula com o objetivo de “recolha e partilha de informação e identificação e concretização de oportunidades e parcerias de negócios e de exportação nos sectores económicos que integram a grande quinzena empresarial”.

Os setores envolvidos na quinzena da AIP vão da construção à agricultura e pescas, passando pelo imobiliário, segurança, ambiente, mobiliário e decoração, de acordo com comunicado da organização.

A quinzena empresarial vai incluir a realização, em simultâneo, da primeira edição da Intercasa Concept Moçambique e da segunda Tektónica Moçambique.

Dias 5 e 6 de março, a encerrar o percurso, vai ter lugar o Fórum Agroalimentar Moçambique, onde vai estar presente a ministra da Agricultura, Assunção Cristas.

“A quinzena empresarial Moçambique-Portugal é o resultado de meses de investimento num formato exclusivo, preparado para maximizar o número de contactos e de oportunidades de negócio para as empresas que nela participam”, afirmou, em comunicado, a diretora-geral da AIP — Feiras Congressos e Eventos, Maria João Rocha de Matos.

ECCO – The European CanCer Organisation (www.ecco-org.eu), a non-profit making association with 26 employees, aims to bring together all the different disciplines and specialists involved in the research and treatment of cancer. Its ultimate aim is to ensure that all cancer patients across Europe receive the best possible care. ECCO organises several conferences and congress among which every two years its flagship gathering 16.000+ participants.

To support the organisation of this biennial medical congress to take place in Amsterdam we are offering within in our Brussels based team an exciting and challenging internship position for 6 months (May to October 2013).

Job Objective

Registration Administrator: for 80% of his/her time, the Registration Administrator is responsible for implementing the registration procedures and processing registrations for assigned projects. The Registration Administrator is the contact person for persons registering for the Congress, and he/she is in charge of the complete follow-up of the registration. His/her position is key in maintaining a good internal process, and a good relationship with all conference participants, pre, during, and post-Congress.

Conference Administraor: for 20% of his/her time, the Conference Administrator is working on planning and coordinating some operations aspects of nthe European Cancer Congress 2013, to take place 27 Sept – 01 October, in Amsterdam. His/her work in close liaison with the Congress Operations Manager, and each member of the Congress Team is important for the success of this role.

Main Responsibilities Conference Administrator

§ To assist the Congress Operations Team in coordinate some of the logistical support before and during the Congress, such as Telecom, Audiovisuals/IT, Catering, Conference material, Conference centre services, Accommodation, Local staff, Social events, eExhibition, Liaison with external partners (media groups, technical suppliers).

Main Responsibilities Registration Administrator

§ To respect registration timeline and processes implemented by the Registration team;

§ To take care of registrations for the Congress, including:

§  Answer all requests related to registrations;

§  Acknowledge and confirm receipt of registrations;

§  Process payments & invoices;

§  Manage registrations in the database;

§  Follow-up with all participants pre-conference;

§  Prepare registration material.

§ To coordinate, together with the Registration team, special registrations (such as speakers, committees, VIPs, staff, etc);

§ To work on statistics and registration reports on a regular basis with the Registration team;

§ To support the Congress Operations Team in planning the onsite registration area;

§ To manage the registration area during the Congress, including:

§  Organise the registration desks & materials;

§  Supervise the registration local staff (hostesses);

§  Welcome participants to the Congress;

§  Hand out all registration materials;

§  Permanent support for last minute and onsite requests;

§  To follow-up after the Congress, for administrative and financial closing;

Skill Specifications

§ Administrative and computer skills, including good knowledge of MS Office, Internet, email technologies, Adobe;

§ Fluency in spoken and written English (other European languages would be an asset);

§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills including good editorial skills;

§ Ability to negotiate, establish and maintain relationships with suppliers/partners in the meeting industry;

§ Ability to take initiative, prioritise and work under set deadlines;

§ Ability to function accurately and efficiently in a multi-task work environment;

§ Ability to work independently and in team.

The responsibility for these activities requires an individual with a diverse range of competencies and with an ability to work with multiple projects.

As Nações Unidas recebem, até 25 de março, candidaturas de jovens portugueses, no âmbito de vários concursos internacionais para preenchimento de vagas em diversos departamentos.

Especialistas de direitos humanos (4 vagas para vários destinos), juristas (1 vaga, para o Sudão do Sul), analistas políticos (2 vagas, para o Sudão e Sudão do Sul) e da área das ciências sociais (2 vagas, para o Sudão e República Democrática do Congo) são convidados a enviar as suas candidaturas para os links disponibilizados no site, onde se descrevem as competências exigidas aos candidatos e as condições oferecidas.
