Bike/Walking Tour: Angel Island
DATE: Saturday, April 27, 2013
MEETING TIME: 9:15 a.m. Ferry leaves at 10 a.m. Return at 5:30 p.m.
MEETING POINT: Pier 41 on Embarcadero at Powell (returning to the same pier)
Join us in a bike/walking tour and picnic on beautiful Angel Island!
Famous for its spectacular views of the San Francisco skyline, as well as a perfect 360-degree view of the SF Bay Area from its 400 ft high peak, Angel Island is often referred to as “The Ellis Island of the West Coast.”
Both bicyclists and walkers welcome! Bring a picnic OR purchase lunch from the Island Pub.
Ferry fare: $17 (includes State Park entrance fee)
(If you don’t have a bicycle, you can rent one for $32 for the day (bike rentals available near the ferry)
