A Good News, Fundamental Changed, Lusi a roadmap goto to GeoPark, A new Paradigm to What Next Lusi, Let Work Together Again!
To Dear friends of "Lusi Library", which is my pride and appreciation wherever you are.
First of all I on behalf of private my shelf, as inisiator of the "Lusi Library" and implementor of the "Lusi Research Networking", also on behalf of "the BPLS" (the Indonesian Government Institution) on this auspicious occasion would like to acknowledge with appreciation for your attention and cooperation related to handling Lusi Earth Disasters.
After a long journey and the full dynamics for 9 years, finally in 2015 was a "golden opportunity" to resolve the fundamental problems of "Lusi Earth Disasters", that particularly related to social aspects.
I hereby submit a good news, to be used as a momentum for what next Lusi:
1) In general, there has been a fundamental change, causing the development of a New Paradigm for restoring joints after 9 years of life the hard times that have been passed;
2) The Government of Indonesia has committed to complete the remaining social problems, which had previously been the responsibility of Lapindo, through the mechanism of the so-called "Anticipation Fund";
3) On the status of early October 2015, completion is approaching 95%, remaining mostly because there are still issues document of its own citizens or differences in interpretation of the document ownership.
4) In general, concrete steps from the government, has a positive impact, in an effort handlers "Lusi Earth Disasters" in the field;
5) Since December 24, 2014, Dr. Basuki Hadimuljono as Minister of Public Works and Poeple Housing, previously as Chairman of the National Team, Sidoarjo Mud Mitigation (2006-2007), then was conveyed to the public, that for the future Lusi is directed into a GeoPark, the main site is cyclical eruption of geysers Lusi. Where have an analogy with the world famous geysers of Yellow Stone National Park in the USA.
6) Due to the Lusi GeoPark will still go through the administrative process, both at the national and international scope. So as one part of a New Paradigm Countermeasures Lusi forward, which in fact we have done so far is:
LUSI, AS THE CENTER OF EXCELLENCE FOR THE STUDY OF MUD VOLCANO IN THE WORLD.
7) In line with the road map Lusi towards a Geopark, so in the near future Lusi will be enhanced as a world class tourist destination, with the main object, namely the eruption of cyclical Geyser, including mud baths for health (mud spa), and a hot shower like at volcanic complex, and sports / water activities in the "Lake Lusu" are large in size.
Besides, the unique one is the Porong River Tourism to "Mud Island" which has been established as an aspect of Biodiversity to support "GeoPark Lusi".
Mud Island with an area of 94 hectares, located in the estuary of the Delta Porong, 19 km from LUSI in Porong, is part of the overall drainage system Lusi to the sea, using the free energy that is owned solely by the Porong River.
8) Utilization ahead of the Lusi mud volcano eruption phenomena, among others:
a) Mud for various interests, health (GeoHealth), entertainment hot water, such as in the complex of volcanoes;
b) Mud with mineral content of Yodium (pharmacy), Lithium (raw materials batteries), traditional salt (such as in the mud volcano bleduk kuwu);
c) The potential for renewable energy generation geothermal small scale. As a consequence of the Lusi mud volcano has intimate with volcanic complex "Welirang-Arjuno".
The Premiere or Kick off from NEW PARADIGM: LUSI "AS CENTER OF EXCELLENCE" STUDY OF MUD VOLCANO IN THE WORLD.
In order for the New Paradigm is not just discourse, it has prepared a moment premiere or "Kick Off". Where the future is expected to be rolling snowball become larger and more cohesive.
KICK OFF EVENT "LUSI-EXCHELLENGE”
Wednesday, October 7, 2015, the research team from ITB (the Bandung Institute of Technology) will launch a scientific investigation activities, related to posture and Deformation in Lusi. By applying technology Terestrial Laser Scanner combined with GPS and InSAR, led by Dr. Andreas.
Dr. Andreas was referred to as Doctor Lusi, because he had completed his PhD dissertation program at ITB with LUSI topic.
Friday, October 9, 2015, will be scientific discussions, held at the Office BPLS in Surabaya:
A) Main Title: "NEW PARADIGM: LUSI AS THE CENTER OF EXCELLENCE" MUD VOLCANO STUDIES IN INDONESIA AND THE WORLD;
B) The title related Lusi view ahead: "Fundamental changes in the intensity and pattern of deformation Subsidence in Lusi mud volcano: implications on longevity eruption ahead";
C) Earth Science Application Title: "Study of Posture and ground deformation by using GPS, InSAR and Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS) on Earth Disaster Lusi”
The party responsible and the speakers are Prof. Dr. Hasanuddin Abidin (Dean of the Faculty of Earth ITB), presented by Dr. Andreas Hery (Lecturer in the Department of Geomatics ITB).
What might / will be done short and medium term to support the actual issues and as a New Paradigm "LUSI-EXCELLENCE", including:
1) Revitalize office facilities and facility survey activity / research work in the field Lusi. With facilities in the center of "Lusi Dome", a historic facility that field, from the implementation of the International Scientific Symposium Lusi May 25, 2011, which held a "kick off".
2) Turning back Lusi CCTV network via the Internet, which has been installed in 2011 in cooperation with Arizona State University (ASU);
3) Updates Cybernet of Site "Lusi Library: Knowledge Management" was developed in 2010, as a tangible manifestation of unity and cooperation of Lusi Research Network, from the stage of Pioneers and Innovation Intellectual Works;
4) Build a prototype virtual museum and Mini Museum, as part of the geodiversity - GeoTrect, which is the contribution of the Earth expert support GeoPark Lusi;
5) Reviewing and reintegrate some of the proposals which have contributed a few years ago by experts from abroad, but can not be implemented because of technical constraints and non-technical:
A) Lusi Reseach Network (LRN), a scientific community to support scientific activities, in terms of Lusi as a Center of Excellence for Study of Mud Volcano in the World. Proposed by Prof. Dr. Richard Davies (Durham University, UK, 2011). Presented at the scientific sessions, Lusi Symposium 2011;
B) Investigation advanced stages, the origin Lusi eruption of gas, and the implications for mechanisms controlling Lusi eruption.
Revitalization Internet network CCTV, which was installed in 2011, but has suffered damage (non-technical). The proposal submitted by Prof. Dr. Amanda Clark, USA (2011);
C) Monitoring Comprehensive and Integrated dynamic aspects of tectonics, of the potential growth of 2 body mud diapir into a mud volcano, as reported by the research of Russia team in 2009.
By applying the technology of Geophysics and Tectonics POLIGON system, Contributed by Dr. Kadurin. Presented at the From Russian With Lusi event (Moscow, 2010) and the International Scientific Symposium Lusi, May 25, 2011 in Indonesia.
D) The proposed investigation Anatomy and control mechanisms Lusi mud volcano eruption, by applying a 4-d reflection seismic, geophysical methods magnetoleric. Including a justification of the proposed changes volcanic sandstone unit, and the unit Kujung Formation limestones.
Proposed by Prof. Dr. Mark Tingay, Presentation at the Symposium on May 26, 2011 Internastional Lusi.
E) Clarification and follow-up, the indication findings Lithium minerals that can be used as raw material for batteries HP. Presented by Dr. Tanikawa (Japan), at the International Symposium Scientific Lusi, on May 25, 2011.
F) The potential for the development of green energy geothermal small scale. As a consequence Lusi has an intimate relationship with the mountain system of magmatic Welirang-Arjuno. Presented by Dr. Sudarman at the International Symposium Scientific Lusi mud volcano May 26, 2011.
G) Possible Consortium of Indonesia took the 3d reflection seismic data, to clarify what exactly under Lusi. New data generated will be shared between geologists and experts of oil and gas exploration drilling.
2011 has obtained funding from the Government. But when will be implemented on the ground, turns to face the non-technical obstacles, had to be canceled.
H) the initial proposal to be carried out by the Geological Agency, in the near future, related GeoHealth:
a) Ensuring the content of water and mud associated with the health aspects for the future utilization;
b) the possibility of utilization for skin health (spa mud), and
c) the possibility of Lusi water used to produce traditional salt (such as in Bleduk Kuwu mud volcano, in the town of Central Java Purwodadi)
What could we do together, UNDER THE TERMS OF THE NETWORK LUSI LUSI LIBRARY AND RESEARCH NETWORK?
From what has been described at length in the front, ranging occurrence of the Fundamental Change, followed by New Paradigm, Strategic Objectives forward LUSI GeoPark, and Short-Term Aspects that can be immediately rolled-LUSI EXCHELLENCE.
So some things that we might do, including what I expected, as has been done step past innovations, namely:
1) Please responses and a brief view of the future academic based LUSI as Big Umbrella will go roadmap, toward a Geopark system;
2) Starting kick off 7 October 2015, how to accelerate the roll out LUSI EXCHELLANGE AS CENTRE OF STUDIES FOR MUD VOLCANO IN INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY. Where will start from your personal and compiled into an integrated "LUSI LIBRARY".
3) To enhence of Museum Virtual and Mini Lusi collection, which has been placed on the web-site LUSI LIBRARY.
Kindly to send materials in a more complete form Photos - Hard Copy, Ebook, ect.
4) Please be submitted informally formal continued, when on the proposals in the past which can not be implemented will be updated. Or if there is a proposal Lusi new scientific investigation that is oriented to the front. For possibility can be implemented, in an environment NEW PARADIGM, OF DISASTER LUSI.
5) As we note, as is already known at this time still ongoing multiyear program of LUSI LAB (2013-2018), therein including scholarships for 2 Phd program. Lusi Drone Technology Development and Robot equipment is being designed to take samples at Lusi crater. Informnasi details have been placed on the Internet, coordinated by Dr. Adriano Mazzini (Oslo University).
Such things is a continuation of our dream together since 2010 when I was formed LUSI LIBRARY, followed in 2011 held the International Symposium and rolled Lusi Lusi Research Networking.
Hopefully the cooperation that has been built, in the New Paradigm LUSI can be realized.
Hopefully, your continued contributions and attention on Lusi can provide the widest possible benefit to science, and tangible contribution to the Earth Disaster Lusi Management first time ever on Planet Earth.

Termasuk ‘Srikandi Lusi” telah menjelajah berulang kali di sektor Lusi Dome dan Barata, tahun 2011 langsung memimpin team ASU untuk melaksanakan Riset terkait Postur dan Perilaku bersiklus Lusi dengan penekanan menentukan sumber gas yang disermburkan Lusi.
Dr. Sergey V. Kadurin
Kadurin adalah seorang pakar geologi dengan pengalaman dan keahlian di bidang-bidang:
– Geologi dan geologi kelautan;
– Mineralogi dan bio-mineralogi;
– Geologi kelautan Quaternary dan palaoeceanography;
– Paleoclimatology, perubahan permukaan laut global;
– Sejarah Quaternary, paleoceanography, glacials dan inreglacial, sapropels dan peristiwaanoxic;
– Pemantauan lingkungan;
– Geologi GIS.
Ia bekerja di Universitas Nasional Odessa, Departemen Kelautan dan Geofisika; sebagai asisten profesor pada 1999-2001 dan saat ini memegang jabatan sebagai pengajar senior.
Atas kontribution Makalah Ilmiah lebih dari 5 artikel, mencakup mud volcano dan mud diapir di Indonesia (Flores Basin, Sumba Forearc, Sumba Basin, dan dibagian lain di dunia).

Dr. Kadurin bersama Tim Peneliti Rusia, berdasarkan hasil penyelidikan terutama menggunakan metoda GIS 3 D telah mengusulkan Geometri Lusi mud volcano dan alternatif pembentukan LUSI mud volcano.
Dan yang patut mendapatkan penghargaan adalah temuan dua struktur lumpur (versi papernya), yang pada hakekatnya merupakan Mud Diapir di dekat lokasi LUSI.
Disamping itu memberikan early warning terhadap potensi ke depan (geolog menggunakan waktu yang bisa sangat lama) berkembang menjadi mud volcano seperti LUSI.
Direktur Humanitus Sidoarjo Fund (HSF) di Australia, atas inovasi dan langkah nyata sebagai mitra BPLS telah melaksanakan Event-Event Internasional Simposium Lusi ke depan (25-26 Mei 2011) di Lusi Dome dan Surabaya; Event From Russia with Lusi dengan kegiatan di Moskow, Saint Petersburg Rusia, Dialog Publik tentang Lusi mud volcano di Singapor, dan di Jakarta.
Direktur Immodiscus SA, yang telah berinisiatif membuat Film Documenter Mud Max Lusi, dengan acara Preview di ASU, USA, Sydney, Australia, dan pemutaran pada acara Simpusium Lusi 26 Mei 2011. Momen ini tercatat sebagai suatu paradigma baru dan transisi untuk lebih melihat ke depan solusi Lusi yang holistik dari tataran Bencanaan Geologi.
Christoper Fong (Chris), Direktur Immodiscus SA, telah memproduksi film Mud Max Lusi dan melakanakan even Pertunjukan Perdana di ASU (USA) dan Sydney (AU), salah satu kunci transisi dari Kontroversi ke Solusi ke depan.
Kami berdua (Chris dan Prasetyo) bersama-sama mendaki Gunung Lusi dan mandi Spa di sektor utara Dome, tanpa disadari mendapatkan ‘Ilham’ atau Imajinasi untuk dapat menghadirkan para “superstar Lusi” guna menyaksikan Fakta Lapangan yang sangat penting dan strategis, bahwa telah terjadi perubahan mendasar terhadap Postur dan Perilaku Lusi.
Chris menyatakan bersedia untuk menjadi saksi lapangan (Lusi sering tidur, muntahan dari kawah terutama air) dan akan menyampaikan kepada kolega internasional tentang pengalaman mendaki gunung mendekati kawah, benar-benar mandi lumpur (celup kaki) pada Aliran Sungai di P25.
Menggunakan HP Iphon, Chris merekam video dan langsung mengirimkan nyake Jeffrey Richard di Australia…..Impian menjadi Kenyataan tanggal 25 Mei 2011 Bendera Kebangsaan Negara menjadi saksi bisu, bagaimana Para Superstar Lusi dapat hadir dan menyaksikan KEAJAIBAN DAN MISTERI LUSI MUD VOLCANO. Walaupun Chris tidak dapat hadir.
Atas partisiapasi pada beberapa event (From Rusia to Lusi), Simposium Lusi, dan kontribusi beberapa makalah terkait Lusi.
Kaitan mud volcano dengan lagenda hikayat Runtuhnya Kerajaan Majapahit, merupakan salah satu karya yang banyak diminati oleh Publik terutama dari Mancanegara.

Telah memilih topik Gerakan Tanah dari Semburan Lusi sebagai judul Tesis Disertasi Doktor di ITB.
Selama menyelesaikan program Doktor, Heri Andreas telah mempresentasikan dan pempublikasikan hasil karya ilmiah terkait masing-masing pada Pertemuan Ilmiah di Australia dan Maroko.
Hasil penelitian terkait Geohazard yang signifikan adalah menyimpulkan bahwa kecepatan subsidence sejak tahun 2010 telah menurun secara signifikan, dan memodel kehidupan Lusi ke depan dengan hasil yang mendekati perhitungan para geolog baik menghitung berdasarkan sumber lumpur Formasi Kalibeng (IAGI dan Istadi), maupun menggunakan sumber air pada reservoir batugamping Formasi Prupuh (Davies, 2011) yang terkenal dengan angka 26 Tahun.
Telah dianugrahi kategori ‘Srikandi Lusi’, sebagai wanita pertama tercatat berhasil menjelajah Gunung Lusi dari Pos Pantau (barat) ke Kawah barat-utara, dan mendarat di P67 (Glagaharum).
Jalur ini selanjutnya disebut Andiani Track (Lintasan Andiani). Andiani juga telah berperan sebagai Model (sukarela) untuk menyemarakkan Wanamina di Pulau Lumpur.
Ir. Rovicky, Ketua IAGI, Pengelola Rovicky WordPress.com, yang secara konsisten mengelola situs Internet yang sangat apik, dan informasi tentang Lusi mud volcano ditempatkan secara bersistem (2006-2012), dengan koleksi yang sangat bernilai sejak saat Lusi dilahirkan (2006).
Saat Lusi mulai mengalami sudden collapse (Maret 2008), Saat Debat Lusi mengemuka sebelum even di Afrika Selatan, sampai saat ini ketika Lusi semakin menampakkan semburan pola geyser, menuju tahap dormant yang sebelumnya masa semburan dahsyat yang merusak (violent and desctruction eruption).
Koordinator Tim Tagana Kabapten Sidoarjo, sebagai ‘Srikandi Lusi’, berhasil menjelajah Gunung Lusi memalui kebalikan Jalur Andiani (lebih pendek) dari P68 (utara) ke Zona Barata.
