Arabic is a subject that has its difficulties for students of Islamic Primary Schools. The majority of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah struggle with reading, writing, and understanding mufradat (vocabularies) in Arabic classes. Among the attempts undertaken to overcome these obstacles is the application of the peer tutoring method combined with short card media in Arabic language learning. This study aimed to determine and analyze the implementation of the peer tutor method integrated with short card media in learning Arabic at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The subjects in this study were teachers and students in learning Arabic at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The method used qualitative-descriptive. The results showed that the peer tutoring method integrated with short card media was carried out through the following stages: 1) explanation of the objectives and classical learning activities by the teacher, 2) grouping students into teams where some of the students functioned as tutors for the others, 3) learning with the peer tutor method integrated with short cards media that have been provided, 4) observing learning activities, and 5) evaluating learning activities with teachers and students. When employing peer tutoring integrated with short card media, the findings indicate that students showed a higher level of enthusiasm for their participation in the learning process.
This article provides an analysis of the strategic steps undertaken by the institution in developing an Arabic language environment. The main problem of research is related to how the strategy undertaken by pondok pesantren Darussalam Parmeraan in developing Arabic language environment. To answer this research question the method used is descriptive qualitative. Sources of research data is the manager of pondok pesantren and students. Techniques used in data collection are interviews, observation, and documentation. The result shows that pondok pesantren of Darussalam Pameraan has done some strategy in developing Arabic language environment that is Arabic takhashshush program, mufradat shabahiyyah, tadrib muhadatsah shabahiyyah, giving mufradat to teacher, using Arabic language as the language of introduction in classroom, al-usbu' al-'arabi, the practice of muhadharah and jadal wa musabaqah al-lughah. These findings prove that the language environment can be the right choice to help improve learners' skills in speaking. The language environment can also eliminate the rigidity of learners in expressing the contents of their minds.
Maharah al-kalam (speaking skills) is one of the courses taught at the Department of Arabic Literature, Faculty of Letters, UMI. The purpose of the study, to describe the development of flash card learning media in learning Maharah al-Kalam and analyze the impact of using flash card learning media in learning Maharah al-Kalam students of Arabic Literature Department, Faculty of Letters UMI. This research uses a qualitative approach by emphasizing analysis on deductive and inductive inference processes and on analysis of the dynamics of relationships between observed phenomena. The sample is third semester students of Arabic Literature Study Program, Faculty of Letters, UMI. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews, documentation, and tests with data analysis processed into a pattern, category, and description unit. by using the data triangulation method, namely: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study, the development of flash card learning media in learning maharah al-kalam is designed not to use pictures, but contains writing and the other side contains answers both the meaning of vocabulary 'mufradat and simple sentences and lecturers manage the class with varied methods so that there is active and effective interaction between students in Arabic conversation and the use of flash cards in learning Maharah al-Kalam gives a positive in achieving learning objectives, there is a correlation and influence of the use of media in learning Maharah al-Kalam. activate students independently, in pairs or in groups, read and organize information in the text and recall it.
