For the younger crowd and not so young anymore like me who likes rap with good clean lyrics, I have included a track from a rap album by Fantom on my personal blog. I guess who can no longer define being Haitian as someone who listens to a nice Kompa beat and feel it.  I’ve listed to a few Haitian rap groups and all I can say is that these guys are good!

In particular at some point, I’d like to see you discourse on what it means “existentially” to be a Haitian musically speaking? How would you address the influence of American music in the mix?
