This is a reminder that tonight is the second Sunday of November and a
scheduled meeting date of the

I plan to continue trying out various BSD OS Projects. Last month I had
tried out Nomad BSD which is a desktop oriented FreeBSD derivative
intended to be run from an external drive; Nomad BSD provides a somewhat
polished XFCE desktop environment. My takeaways, if run from a USB
flash drive make sure you use a flash drive with good write speeds. WiFi
interfaces were a challenge; I think we had tried 4 WiFi interfaces
without any luck. I ended up falling back to cabled Ethernet through a
WiFi router operating in repeater mode.
