Congratulations to Qing Lu for officially being elected as the new CALA treasurer. J

Min Wu is now our new CALA president and Qiang Ding is our CALA president-elect.

I also want to thank all of you who participated in the voting process.

Additional thanks to Jian Fu and Qiang Ding for their help in counting the votes.

Hi, CALA members:

I apologize for the late response as my department is relocating within the campus and my computer was just set up 20 minutes ago. Since both Youyang and Yin are not able to be as a candidate for the next treasurer, I think the best support we can have for Qing is to still send in your vote for Qing as the procedure called. In this way, Qing will know that she has the support from the CALA members and we will have our next treasurer that is officially elected. I urge you to show your support and send in your vote. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have encouraged me, supported me, voted for me, and not voted for me for the treasurer position. I am not sure if there is a "collusion" or not, I do feel a little bit of stealing the election. Anyway, I am happy to serve and will do my best. I am particularly grateful that Drs. Wu Min, Ding Qiang and all previous presidents have agreed to mentor me for this matter. I should be fine.
