The Division of Lung Diseases, NHLBI has an immediate need for a research scientist (Program Officer) to provide critical leadership and programmatic support for extramural research on lung diseases. The position provides a competitive salary, outstanding benefits package, and job security. U.S. citizenship is required.
The ideal candidate’s research background will be in basic, translational, clinical, or implementation science related to pulmonary biology, asthma, pediatric lung disease, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary vascular disease, ARDS/critical care, or other lung conditions.
