Dear CALA members and friends,

According to the Article VI in the “By-Laws of Chinese-American Lung Association (CALA)”, it is time to elect new Treasurer of CALA. As the current President of the CALA, I would like to call for nomination or self-nomination of candidates for next Treasurer of CALA.

Nominee must be a Full Member of the Association.
The Treasurer shall be responsible for:

1.    preparing the agenda and recording of meeting minutes,

2.    preparing and presenting a financial report at each Board of Governors meeting and at Annual Member Meetings,

3.    maintaining general affair of the Association including By-Laws, By-Laws amendments, website, and assignments from the President.

It is expected that the Treasurer will serve as next President-Elect, and that the President-Elect will serve as next President. The detail information regarding the responsibilities of the Treasurer and other officers can be found in the attached “By-Laws of CALA”.

Nominations including self-nomination are invited. Please submit nominee’s name, institute, and email address by December 31, 2018 to Jian Fu at jfu...@gmail.com<mailto:jfu...@gmail.com>
