Just as the title says really.
We do not use Mac, and having to buy one makes it an expensive dongle.
The documentation seems to imply I am screwed - yet I cannot but help imagine the furore if Mac users were treated in a similarly cavalier fashion, as you would never hear the end of it.

Neil,

Lunaserv is developed and used primarily on the Linux OS. Macs are
close enough to posix compliant that it easily compiles and runs there
as well (it likely would on most BSD or UNIX like platforms). Windows
is a bit of a different beast though. It may be possible to compile the
map utils portion under cygwin, and if so, running the Ruby portions in
Windows should be fairly easy. In recent versions of Windows, there's a
fairly functional Linux subsystem available that might work without much
trouble at all.

Thanks Nick.
Trouble is, Windows 10 is likewise not an option because installing this will break compatibility with stuff I need for professional use.
I have no idea how to do the stuff like compiling & porting though (sound mixer, not IT specialist) so I had better face the fact this is of no use to me.
Oh well.
