Hi, Nick and lunaserve guys

This is Ryosuke back in Japan.
I've started to use Lunaserve and tried several functions.
It's a so fascinating software!!!

During  the meeting at ASU, you showed us the demo to find links to
LROC original images from the NAC footprints in lunarserve.
I'd appreciate if you can tell me how I can do that.

Sincerely,
     Ryosuke

Hi Ryosuke,

It's good to hear that you're making some progress with Lunaserv.

The NAC footprint layer is served using the vector DB base layer type.
With that layer type, or any of the other DB-based layer types, if you
define a feature_query, the WMS GetFeatureInfo request type becomes
available for that layer. For the NAC footprints, we use the
information from the feature info request to generate a URL for the
thumbnail and the link. For the OpenLayers based front-end, the URL
generation is in the javascript file, so that would need to be modified
to do the right thing for your layer.

Dear Nick

Thanks for your prompt response.

In "Map option" window, I set the "single-click action" to "Get Footprint Info".
Then, I displayed SCI_NAC layer and clicked on a scene (red rectangle).
The returned message , however, is always "No results were found at that location."

That means I failed to send a proper GetFeatureInfo request  to your server?

I see; something definitely appears to be broken there. I was able to
reproduce your problem, and that should be working. I will look more
into this Monday morning when I get into the office to see what's wrong.
The same DB that renders the data is also queried for the feature
requests, so it doesn't make sense that a shape would be drawn and then
not show up in a feature info request. I'll let you know when we figure
out the source of the problem.

The problem has been fixed; give it another try.
