If I download all that I need from LROC how close can I zoom in?

The Lunaserv software can zoom in as far as your layer data goes. For
LROC data in particular, the WAC global mosaic is 100 m/px. There are
other data available from LROC from the NAC that goes to higher
resolutions, but we don't have global coverage with that camera. Visit
the LROC website at http://lroc.sese.asu.edu and from there you can find
what imagery we have available via the images menu.
