Happy Spring!

March 20 marks the vernal equinox, or the beginning of spring! The vernal equinox is one of two points in Earth’s orbit where the sun equally lights up the northern and southern hemisphere, which creates roughly equal periods of daytime and nighttime across the globe. Astronomers consider this the astronomical beginning of spring in the northern hemisphere.
