Next week (April 4-8) I will be teaching 30 high-school students about rocketry.
They will be taking a week-long camp (10am-2pm each day) and building their own rocket.
Starting with forming teams and learning OpenRocket, they will then develop a hypothesis around the different nose cone and fin designs in their team (targeting a low 100' altitude) and build the rocket.
Laser cutters, 3d printers and sewing machines will be used for fins, nose cones and parachutes as well as the opportunity to print T-Shirts and vinyl stickers.

I have secured a launch site about an hour away in Hollister that we will launch from on Friday the 8th.

Anyone that would be interested in helping out is welcome to come over and be a rocket scientist for the day or even an hour!

Please let me know if you have any questions, or would like to come help out!
