Hi All, Sorry this is late, but Modrock 2026 starts this week.  Setup is Thursday, June 18 with the launch starting June 19.  So get ready!

So I checked the "dudy" roster and very few folks have signed up to help.  Key positions we need are a volunteer to haul the equipment trailer out and return it.  I'm assuming it's still in the Bay Area?  Also we need a volunteer to pick up the porta-potties in Sparks, bring them to the launch site, and return them. No launch unless we get these two positions filled! We also need help with setup and teardown.  So sign up! Below is the link to the roster.

I'm assuming Rocket Supplies will be there?  With Gary's retirement, I'm unsure about Aerotech's status for the launch.  Let me know if you guys will be out.  I will be there as usual representing Fruity Chutes.   If you get out there early save the usual space for us on the east side next to the center safety isle.

If you're new to rocketry come out and join us!  Below is the link to the "Getting There" page:

I checked Weather Underground and the weather looks good for the launch.

See yall soon!  Also reply to the group if you can make it.

Hi All,

Rocket.Supplies will also be arriving late Wednesday too. We have packed the pre-orders, and you have until Monday night to add any additional items. After that, we will only have what is available in the trailer.

If you have never attended and are considering coming out, please reach out to us; we would be happy to help you get started.

See you there,

Fred & Danielle

Hi All, I'm sure a bunch of you are heading out today .  I just printed out the duty roster to bring and we still do not anyone who signed up to bring back the equipment trailer to Empire.  Please someone do step up.  Or perhaps there is a creative way to get this done without a double take?

As usual I'm going to run late.  I'll be there around 6 to 7, I hope!

Hi Gene-   ( or should I say “Hygene”)

I’m sure you can find someone at the launch to volunteer like last few launches. If not, as Launch Director, you may need to do it and return to playa for your stuff.
Not fun but that’s the job,

That’s the plan. Weeding out the faint of heart.

Haha, yeah ... been there and done that! (More than once🙄.) The good news is that it does dry out pretty quickly once it stops raining. The better news is that WeatherBug is reporting sunny and warm tomorrow with a low % chance of rain, so it should be nice. Low dust. 🤗🚀
