Thanks to everyone who participated in the inaugural Chip Can Challenge.

Results

Sport Class: The Gene Wolfe Memorial Crisp

1st: Peter Van Campenhout, 320m avg.

2nd: Tansy, 295m avg.

3rd: Brian Van Campenhout, 160m avg.

4th: Antony, 144m avg.

Super Sport Class: The Crisp of the New Sun

No qualifying flights

Unlimited Class: The Crisp of the Autarch

1st: Noah Lenihan, 4,449m avg.

2nd: Aleksandar Milivojevic, 2,703m avg.

3rd: Will Lumpkin, 1,053m avg.

Prizes

I'm working on it. At the least, I'll have certificates for the top three finishers in each class. Please contact me with how you'd like your name listed on the certificate. I'm working on something for 1st place in each category.

I'd love to run this contest again starting this fall, and I hope more people participate. That Super Sport class is wide-open.

I'll have some revisions to the rules, esp. for the Unlimited Class as well.

In the meantime, I know that the ARC teams have some leftover motors, so there'll probably be an oddroc contest over the summer and fall months (weather permitting) at Hollister. Watch the list for more information on that.

Hi Emma,

Thanks for putting this all together. I only made one flight but it was fun to build and send up! My only request if you do certificates is to not put William on it as that isn’t my name.

In terms of certificate, could you use this name "Yutian (Tancy) Zhang" for her. She is really happy to participant this contest, and have a lot of fun!
