OMG, I'm so glad you all got through that. Being so far away, I knew of all the lightning strikes, but the fire maps are just one huge burn scar all the way to Washington; it's hard to discern exact fires at this point.

Thanks for the news, and keep watch: flare ups can still occur with the winds being what they are.

Fire at the ranch this morning. This is from my cousin.

Thank you to everyone for checking in on us. We are safe. No loss of life for us or the cattle, our homes are intact, and it appears the fire is out.
We are grateful to you all, CalFire and the fire personnel from all over, the CHP and law enforcement, and PG&E. Thank you!
About 5 AM the lightning started with hits on all sides. At 5:30 AM brother Tom called that there was a fire at Milton Road and Highway 4. That was not accurate, but we could see flames and billowing smoke to the southeast of us near Dunton Road. Because of the smoke and darkness the planes and helicopters were delayed a bit. By the time light came, the wind had changed and the fire headed north. It jumped Highway 4 and into our ranch. The winds were fierce and ever changing. They knocked it down and we breathed a sigh of relief. Unfortunately the winds flared it up again and it continued to burn north. It appears to be out now. 1200 acres later. I know they will be watching it closely.
We still lost 100 acres of grass but all the cattle survived.
