So I'm building an Aerobee Hi from the 3" kit from Madcow. After testing the sim file in OpenRocket, I realized that the reason the CG is so much more forward of the CP is because of one of the 15" body tubes. After removing it and adding the motor (Aerotech HP-I140W-14 (drilled to a 10 second delay)), the stability margin is 1.61 calibers. I am wondering, however, if I can just use the default amount of black powder that comes with the I140W (1.4 g) for my chute deployment. There is no double deploy system on the rocket. It is 43 inches long, with a 12.5" nose cone exposed length, and 2 15" body tubes. Can someone please assist me on this? I'm planning to launch in about a month and I want it to be prepared well before. the sim files and data are attached below.
Thank you very much
