Questions Regarding L1 Certification

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to get my L1 certification and had a few questions since I know Lunar won't be hosting this summer: 

1. Do I need a mentor to do my L1 flight, or can I fly it on my own?
2. Is it possible to certify through Tripoli sometime between mid-July and early August?
3. Where would this take place? I'd love a launch site as close to the Bay Area as possible, though I've heard there may be a launch happening at the Mojave site around that time.

I've tried calling a few times without getting through, so I wanted to ask here in case anyone can point me in the right direction.

You might reach out to Tripoli Central California – they have a launch July 18^th in the San Joaquin area, and could ask them your questions.  Their website is: https://tccrockets.com/v2/
