Ballast

Hey LUNAR, 

I'm cleaning out a house to sell it, and I found an ingot (yes, a brick) of lead and a smaller handful of fishing weights. I'm in South San Jose for the next maybe 10 days. Is anyone interested? We're talking several pounds (5+ I'm sure). If so, let me know and maybe I can find someone to come get it (I'm stupid busy so I can't deliver it).

Yipes, I'd take that to hazmat disposal. I'd prefer not to dump lead into the soil at the ranch if I lose a rocket. 

I've switched to using non-lead weight such as "Liquid Gravity."

I could probably make use of it after a spray coat of something (think woodworking weight).

Well, I think I already have a taker... But yeah, I was also thinking inlay weight myself! But if things don't work out, I'll ping you before I leave the state.

I have something like 75 pounds of lead.  Over 30 pounds of lead shot, but also fishing weights, diving weights, etc. 

... and I believe a couple woodworking ducks, made by a friend.  If that is of interest to Dave Messink.
