Hi Aeropac has always been a volunteer-driven club, and every successful launch happens because members are willing to pitch in behind the scenes. Tony is stepping down from hauling the potty. I can't even guess how many years he has done this. Anyway we all would like to take a moment to sincerely thank Tony for the many years he has spent helping with hauling the porta-potty or the equipment trailer at the launches. His time and dedication have been greatly appreciated.
As we look ahead to upcoming launches, we're looking to expand our volunteer team so the responsibility doesn't fall on just one or two people. We are currently seeking members who may be able to help transport either the equipment trailer or the porta-potties to and from launches. If you've ever considered helping in a bigger way, now is the perfect time.
Without enough volunteers to support these logistics, future launches could become difficult to schedule or, in the worst case, may have to be canceled. We'd much rather build a strong team and keep Aeropac flying.
To help show our appreciation, Rocket Supplies and Madcow Rocketry have generously offered to donate either a Madcow rocket kit or a Rocket Supplies gift card for members who volunteer to help with hauling. In addition Fruity Chutes will also offer a gift card to those who help with hauling.
If you have a vehicle capable of towing, would like to learn what's involved, or have questions, please reach out. Even if you can only help occasionally, we'd love to hear from you.
We want everyone to know your time and effort are truly valued. Thank you for helping keep Aeropac strong. Our launches happen because of members like you.

I should mention that hauling the porta-potty includes a cash payment to cover gas and time.
Let's make it happen!!

So that leaves us with a serious shortage of haulers for Aeronaut and future launches. We need to start recruiting now or start canceling launches.Jim

Hi Gene-I’m happy to haul the trailer from Empire to the playa. I come wednesdays and enjoy the evening before everyone arrives Thursday.Someone always shows up early so I can drive back to get the trailer from Empire.Returning it is not possible because I haul out my trailer. If someone has a hitch that can tow my lighter camper, I’ll follow them and drive the equipment trailer to empire. I can hook up my trailer there. Can someone do that?I didn’t sign up for duty yet, because I don’t know when THOR will launch. After I do that, I’ll sign up for other duties.(Three O 5500’s booster, N1000 second stage)Ya, I’m nervous already………..Sent from my iPhoneOn Jul 20, 2026, at 11:34 AM, Andrea Lopez Arguello <dmarc-...@freelists.org> wrote:
