Hello!

My name is Aarav Garg, and I'm the president of the Ohlone College Aerospace and Rocketry Club. Our team has been working diligently for several months to develop our proposal for the NASA Student Launch Challenge, and we were eagerly anticipating the opportunity to participate this year.

However, due to unforeseen personal circumstances, our team mentor has had to withdraw from the challenge at the last minute. As a result, unless we find a new mentor by 6:00 AM tomorrow, we will unfortunately be unable to participate.

We are reaching out to the LUNAR community in hopes that someone with an L2 (Level 2) or higher certification would be willing to step in as our team mentor.

What this role entails:

  • Providing guidance and mentorship throughout the project, especially in areas such as rocket design, safety, and launch procedures.

  • Assisting with compliance to all NASA requirements and helping to ensure our team meets all necessary milestones.

  • Handling all energetic devices for the team in sub-scale, full-scale and competition launches locally and in Huntsville, AL. (The team will, of course, cover all costs of attendance to the event in Huntsville)

If anyone is willing to take on this important role, we would greatly appreciate your help. Please reach out to me as soon as possible at (669) 213-7008.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration.

Best regards,
Aarav Garg
