Hi,

I drove out the ranch this afternoon and drove up to the launch site. The creek is still high but is no longer running down the road to the launch site. Don pushed some gravel around so the muddy spots are filled in. I was able to drive my Subaru all the way up with no problem. While some of the spots are smoothed out, there are still some very rough spots. Take it really slow, especially those of you with low to the ground cars. Driving too fast and bouncing on a rough spot could put a rock through your oil pan and you really don't want to do that. Again, stay on the road. Do not try to drive around the puddles or the rough spots. You will get stuck.

The creek is still pretty high but you should be able to wade across. I would not try driving a small car across it. Maybe a jacked up 4 x 4 would be OK. Right now, the deepest spot is about knee high. If you have waders, throw them in as they would work great.

The road north to where we put the high power pad is in pretty bad shape. If you are needing to fly from that pad, you are going to need a truck to get there.

Bill
