Hello rocketeer, this is the launch status update for Tuesday February 25th. Before I give you the launch status, There are two things I must state. Number one, flying rockets is somewhat hazardous. Your car may get hit by a rocket. This is a problem for the insurance companies. Start with your own insurance. If there are problems after that, we can put you in touch with NAR Insurance. Second, there is no retrieval of rockets across the fence line south of the launch site toward highway 4. You must contact LUNAR staff if your rocket goes over the fence.
For the second weekend in a row, the weather forecast and ground conditions are favorable for a March 1st launch. Yes, we are a go for launch.
Remember that the speed limit on the ranch is 7 mph. All automobiles must drive through the water puddles, not around the water puddles. When passing cars in the opposite direction, get back on the road as quickly as possible. Reminder, when on a farm, leave everything as you found it. If you found the gate open, leave it open.  If you open a gate, close the gate. If you are the first car, in a line of cars, and you open the gate, allow the other cars to pass and then close the gate. Do not rely on the last car knowing to close the gate.

As always we can use volunteers to work the range. If everyone who attends a launch volunteered for 1 hour, there would not be enough launch hours for all of us to volunteer once a year. Remember to visit the LUNAR website, join the LUNAR Facebook page and subscribe to the LUNAR announce list to receive all late breaking news from LUNAR.
