We're sad that we missed you last week - Mother Nature just wasn't cooperating!
Get ready to ride with LUNA Chix next Thursday, June 25 for our POKER RIDE! This ride is open to everyone (yes, guys are invited - just this once). Cyclists will head out from Olin Park at 6 PM - please arrive by 5:45 to check in. 16 and 10 mile route options will lead you to card dealers who will give you a playing card as you ride. At the end of the ride you'll play your hand with poker scoring to win great prizes. No poker knowledge is necessary - we'll handle the details. $10 suggested donation to Breast Cancer Fund earns a chance to win as well as a pair of fun bike themed Sock Guy cycling socks while supplies last. Please bring cash to the event or a check to Team LUNA Chix - Madison Cycling.
This week's Thursday June 18 ride will be led by our friends at Spoke Haven, heading out from DSW at Greenway Station at 6 PM. Please arrive early to sign a waiver. Check out their website at www.spokehaven.com and contact them with ride-related questions to this week. Due to liability, riders must join the event through Spoke Haven's meet-up page - http://www.meetup.com/spokehavencyclingclub/. You'll receive a 30 day free trial, however their $30 club membership for a whole year of riding is well worth it!
