ihave a laptop, dell, inspiron 13 7000 series, windows 10,intel corei7,the one that comes with 260GB memory, and my antivirus is the 2016 kaspersky. i got the ultimate collection of c&c from origin. downloaded yuris revenge. patched it with the ddwrapper.zip. changed the forcedirectdrawemulation to =1. then went to cncnet and downloaded the yuris revenge thing to play online and get new maps.( i had to disable my antivirus for a sec., i downloaded it(cncnet yuris), and then put it in the exclusions and then reopen my antivirus) , i also overwrote the old yuris revenge( i didnt save a copy), it palys good at first but after a while it starts to do weird things. i dont tink it has to do with not saving a copy of the old yuris because i tried it and it does the same thing.

1.) after i click 'im ready' to launch the game online, the screen doesnt go to the loading screen but instead it 'hicups' like it wants to go to the loading screen but it just returns me to the game room. and when i click im ready again it say the players are still playing.

2.) while playing a game online, the screen will suddenly freeze and i cant move anyhting not even the mouse. but i can hear things are still happening in the game and i can still type messeges. i stil have the game window but it opens the laptop home screen with the resolution of the game.

3.) while playing in game of certain maps in skirmish (by myself ) of the cncnet itll suddenly do the same hiccup thing and return me to the game room, (the screen shuts off and turns on in the game room.)

i suspect it has to do with the antivirus, but in the ' manage applications' section of the antivirus it has a lot of files and im not sure which one to put as trusted. if anyone knows ay help is appreciated.

I just wanted to post this to warn people since I found a trojan in one of the binaries that claims to patch the game. I was able to fix the problem related to graphics without using this suspicious binary that could have infected my computer with a trojan.

To fix the game's graphics' issues on Windows 8+ assuming you have Origin's C&C Ultimate Edition, follow the below steps and do not follow anything else if you do not have proper protection on your system:

However, the problem is that the website where this zip folder is not safe, so I downloaded it and scanned thoroughly using best anti-virus software available and found it clean. Anyways, to be safe, use the link I provided where I put the scanned file in a public directory so anyone can use it. At least that is safer rthan using bitpatch website.

After I performed the above fix, the game was still unstable a bit and crashed from time to time. I added few more steps that stabilized the game entirely. Do the following once you have already done the above steps 1 to 6:

I just scanned the launchers with Malwarebytes and it says it's clean. I'm fairly sure that's a false positive, or a "reputation-based" detection, which are 100% worthless, since they just mean the scanner doesn't know the file, and nothing else.

It is not personal, I'm trying to protect the young gamers who are not aware from infecting their computers and to prevent the possibility of their info/credit cards getting stolen and frauded or blackmailed.
