Hey kids, three quick things.

First, I'm a real big bonehead. Yeah, there's a newsbreak for you all.
Anyways on Saturday night, I'm throwing my final Halloween party. No
special reason for calling it quits. 10 seemed like a nice round
number, plus I've never had an opportunity to go to anyone else's
Halloween party. That said, I used last year's evite list for this
year's evite, and it is woefully out of date, so if you haven't
received notice before this, I apologize. For more details you can see

Second, Saturday afternoon is the Breeder's Cup, the biggest single day
of throughbred racing all year. When people try to describe the Super
Bowl to people unfamilar with it, they say, 'it's the Breeder's Cup of
football'. Web Gem's Stable founder Matt Wiebke is organizing a
Breeder's Cup pool. Basically you make predictions for all 8 BC races
for $20 with the winner being a little bit richer at the end. If you
want to participate, let me know at scott.l...@gmail.com. By the
way, one last horse note. Leather N' Lace is at Mountaineer in West
Virginia, but since he needs training time he will not be racing until
January down at Tampa Bay Downs.

Lastly, this winter the LumpWorld website & blog will be down. Time's
getting squeezed so for now this list and Flickr site

Lump thirst. I know, how on earth will you cope?
