Hi all,

For those of you using Luminotes Desktop how do you back up your data?

I'm a big believer in automated backups so I set up Acronis to bakup
the folder %user/app-data/Luminotes along with my other important
files. The thing is these are raw DB files, and I don't know that
they'll be usable as-is?

Do any of you have experience having to recover a Luminotes Desktop DB
that was "saved" in this manner?

What do you do to backup your data on Luminotes Desktop?

Cheers,

Olivier

Hi Olivier,

The Luminotes Desktop database file is a standard SQLite database, so
if you ever need to recover anything from it, you can extract data
with standard SQLite utilities. Also, you can use the Luminotes
Desktop "export" link to backup an XML or CSV export of your notes.
