Disable Screensaver while watching Youtube videos

Hi,
This is annoying thing, while watching videos on youtube after a while
screensaver kicks in and screen gets locked while video is still
playing.

Any solution Disable while watching Youtube videos?

Ubuntu 10.04
Google Chrome 7
Flash 10.1

Hi,


You can install Noscript addon in firefox that will block the spam screens.
I don't have any info. about chrome browser but firefox will do it fine.

Let me know if you have any different approach towards this.

well, NoScript blocks up the unwanted traffic in the backend of the webrequest

or it can be set up as per choice.


However, it would be better if a screenshot of the issue is available.

You seem to have misinterpreted OP. He wants to disable gnome screensaver while youtube is playing some video.

Hi,
Anyone has ideas on how to proceed on this?

the only workaround, I found it to first download the complete video,
save to disk and then watch it.

Not ideal, so searching for solution

write a script to move the mouse .... or send a key press event ,after
few min of inactivity... Keep it runnin in the background....
